Contemporary Cabinetry with Artistic Flair
Installing slab-style doors with integrated pulls achieved a sleek, contemporary look. Featuring upper cabinets in Birdseye maple thermofoil adds warmth and subtle texture. In contrast, the base and tall cabinets, which are wrapped in charcoal gray thermofoil, ground the space with a bold, modern edge. Though these finishes have been retired, the design principles remain timeless.
Quartz Countertops That Balance Texture and Tone
Two Caesarstone quartz finishes define zones within the kitchen. The perimeter’s “Oyster” in a polished finish, offers a clean, reflective surface. The island contrasts beautifully with “Concrete” in a honed finish, adding tactile depth. These materials created visual interest without overwhelming the space.
A Backsplash That Frames the Focal Point
The backsplash combines 3×6 ceramic tiles in a subtle green-gray tone with a 1” mosaic in earthy hues. This mosaic frames the chimney-style stainless steel hood, which turns it into a striking focal point. The stacked cabinetry above, which includes frosted glass doors, adds height and a touch of translucency to the design.
